La Tercera Orilla shares some poems by the winner of the First International Poetry Prize Library Pública Mario Javier Pacheco, 2015. It is about the Valle del Cauca writer Edinson Fierro Abalo and his collection of poems: Water and wind. In the words of the qualifying jury, "the book Water and Wind has unity and intensity in its expression. His verses recall the art of haiku both in its brief, serene and leisurely form, as well as in the game of correspondences and images inspired by nature. It is innovative every time it uses this contained literary form to show a world of its own, that is, it is based on the haiku tradition, for oriental excellence, to create worlds close to Latin America. It is also perceived a serious work, thought, calm. And then it is possible to meet the beauty of the verses with the reader”.eng
