dc.description.abstract | Una noche y sus sonidos perpetrados en el tiempo y la nostalgia del hombre donde su
subjetividad se conjuga con el mundo, y la finitud del hombre expresada por el infinito
negro, donde nuestra voz no alcanza…
El modernismo en Colombia se presenta como un movimiento cultural dominado por
modelos culturales europeos. Una figura extraña que sintió cómo era el flujo de este
movimiento y se adentró aun mas al fondo, a comprender el movimiento Simbolista, fue el
poeta bogotano José Asunción Silva, un efebo griego. Quizás su figura afeminada, como
afirmó en uno de sus escritos Tomas Caraquilla, fue causa de sus psicopatías y leyenda
homosexual, causante tal vez de su suicidio, pero esto es sólo conjetura, la evidencia es la
agonía de su alma que incubó poesía digna de los dioses. | spa |

Modernism in Colombia is presented as a cultural movement dominated by
European cultural models. A strange figure who felt what the flow of this
movement and went even deeper, to understand the Symbolist movement, was the
Bogota poet José Asunción Silva, a Greek ephebe. Perhaps his effeminate figure, like
affirmed in one of his writings Tomas Caraquilla, it was the cause of his psychopathies and legend
homosexual, perhaps causing his suicide, but this is only conjecture, the evidence is the
agony of his soul that incubated poetry worthy of the gods. | eng |
