| spa |

dc.title.translated | Currently, the construction of a pluralistic and democratic society in Colombia continues to be a challenge. Undoubtedly, the 1991 Constitution meant progress in consolidating the rights of traditionally discriminated social groups, even when they have not been fully enforced. Among the groups traditionally discriminated against are indigenous communities. In Colombia, 87 ancestral towns have been censused (DANE, General Census 2005); The National Indigenous Organization of Colombia (ONIC) brings together 102 towns, 18 of which are in danger of disappearing. | eng |
