dc.description.abstractEl Maestro Martínez nació en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, este artista de formación y disciplina autodidacta inició desde muy joven una continua investigación y experimentación con el único fin de encontrar su propio estilo pictórico el cual encontró, influenciado por el continuo estudio de las obras de los grandes maestros del Renacimiento italiano y español y más tarde en las corrientes del realismo moderno, dando como resultado un estilo único característico de pinceladas suaves y nítidas y un color vivo y sobrio que le impregna a sus retratos y figuras una fuerza que atrae e invita a contempla.spa
