| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | The objective of this study is to evaluate binocular visual results, including the quality of vision (examined by contrast sensitivity) and subjective satisfaction in a group of patients implanted bilaterally with an intraocular PanOptix trifocal lens. Methods: This was an observational, retrospective cohort study. Results: The total of 132 eyes, 66 patients with bilateral PanOptix trifocal lens implant. Binocular uncorrected distance visual (UDVA) was on average 0.05 LogMAR (Snellen 20/22), intermediate 65 cm (UIVA) 0.07 (20/23), near 40 cm (UNVA) 0.05 LogMAR ( 20/22). The binocular defocus curve showed a plateau without a clearly evident peak in visual acuity in the defocus corresponding to intermediate vision (between -2.00 D and -1.00 D, corresponding in distance to the interval between 50 cm and 1 meter) with a visual acuity average between LogMAR 0.09 and LodMAR 0.08 Conclusion: The PanOPTIX trifocal intraocular lens showed very satisfactory results in this group of patients, who achieved independence of the glasses and expressed a high level of satisfaction. | eng |
