dc.description.abstractenglish | This project presents the kinetic modeling of the hydrolysis process biological for two biomass waste, peels of cassava and potato peels as a preliminary stage to produce bioethanol. It made the collection and characterization of the raw materials, pretreatments such as milling and drying by solar radiation for the adaptation of the filamentous fungi (Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma spp.) to the substrate. In the biological hydrolysis, tests were conducted sugars such as cellulose, starch and glucose along with test weight to determine the variation in mass of the fungus and the substrate. For the peels of cassava hydrolysis initial passes in the first eight days, where the maximum amount of glucose obtained is 6,6558 [g/l], while in the potato peels the amount of data obtained do not serve as support for the approach of a kinetic or for the estimation of the potential for bioethanol production, because that would be submitted contamination by a third agent not identified. For the degradation of peels of cassava with Aspergillus niger was adjusted by a kinetic model of type Monod, with a percentage of error of the 2,4908%. The kinetic model of the Trichoderma spp. for the degradation of the substrate, is determined by an equation type logarithmic given that he presented no compatibility with any model established within the literature. As a final point from the substrate hydrolyzed can be obtained theoretically 4,3038 ml of bioethanol, taking the theoretical fermentation yield as 43% | eng |
