| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Manipulating robots are characterized by the optimization of industrial processes applied to welding, manipulation of objects or parts, cutting and finishing, assembly or painting. Enter the need of the industry by giving the products less development or manufacturing time, greater efficiency or higher quality in addition to a low production cost. For several years that industrial robots were invented such as the SCARA robot (robotic arm of assembled selective assembly) and others have been the impulses of the great development of current manufacturing, hence the importance of universities began to acquire robots as banks of tests and train students in these machines. The didactic bank of the SCARA robot proposes the study, design and construction of a SCARA robot coupled to an MPS (Modular Production System or Modular Production System) of FESTO, which allows the connection of the concepts of robotics and automation subjects industrial. The bank has electrical power sockets to the bank, DC voltage source, SCARA robot of 4 gdl composed of stepper motors, sensors that measure the position and control cards capable of controlling the rotation of the motors, a didactic table, a MPS from FESTO and a man-machine interface that allows students to control the movements of the robot. | eng |
