This thesis mainly develops a formal mechanism for the automatic classification of a repository of learning objects, according to the value of a set of indicators, in order to keep them in a permanent cycle of improvement. This involves constructing a measure space, a measure function, a dissimilarity function, and a classi fi cation method. In addition to this, a measurement process was applied that helps make more sense of the information obtained by each object and of the possible agglomerations obtained as a product of the classification. This mechanism can classify different types of learning objects, regardless of whether they belong to different categories, this allows it to be used in any repository of learning objects.eng
