sustitutos, presentan diversas limitaciones y complicaciones,

dc.description.abstractenglish | The current treatment of hypospadias is sometimes complicated
and requires the performance of highly complex techniques for
surgical reconstruction of the urethral structure, which are mainly
based on the application of skin grafts, urinary bladder and oral
mucosa. All these substitutes have various limitations and
complications, among the most common are infections, graft
rejections, pain, bleeding and deformities, among others. In this
context, the generation of an artificial urethra in the laboratory
through tissue engineering techniques represents a great advance
in this field, reducing the number of complications and allowing
the functional restoration of the urethra. In this project, models of
artificial urethral plaque will be generated and compared, using
extracellular matrices derived from cells (CDM), epithelial cells
determine their potential potential utility. | spa |
