dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo se sustentó bajo el desarrollo de un plan de mejoramiento a través de las etapas del proceso administrativo: planeación, dirección y control llevado a cabo por la enfermera en formación de octavo semestre de la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga en la Unidad de trasplante de médula ósea y terapia celular de la clínica FOSCAL Internacional durante el primer semestre del año 2023 desempeñando funciones de gestión y liderazgo propias del rol enfermero. OBJETIVO: Desarrollo de estrategias de seguimiento y educación mediante la medición de adherencia a instructivos para personal de salud y diseño de un instructivo de educación a pacientes para el mejoramiento de la calidad de atención en la unidad de trasplante de médula ósea y terapia celular e internación parcial en la clínica FOSCAL Internacional durante el primer semestre del año 2023. METODOLOGÍA: Se realizó la valoración de la Unidad de trasplante de médula ósea e internación parcial, diagnóstico del área de trabajo la matriz DOFA y priorización de los problemas identificados a través del método de Hanlon se definieron intervenciones de mejora en cuatro necesidades del servicio abordadas bajo el enfoque teórico de Imogene King: teoría de la consecución de objetivos. RESULTADOS: A través de las intervenciones de mejora realizadas en cada una de las necesidades identificadas se logró realizar la medición de la adherencia al 100% del personal de salud en los instructivos de lavado de manos, aislamientos, limpieza y desinfección de equipos biomédicos y superficies y consentimiento informado, durante los meses de marzo a mayo en la Unidad de trasplante de médula ósea y terapia celular en la clínica Foscal internacional, así como el desarrollo de actividades de fortalecimiento en cada uno de los instructivos, esto influyó positivamente mejorando el nivel de adherencia a dichos instructivos. Se elaboró el 100% del instructivo de educación de enfermería para el usuario que ingresa y egresa a la unidad de trasplante de médula ósea e internación parcial, y la actualización del 100% de los folletos de educación para el usuario. CONCLUSIONES: Los planes de mejoramiento para la unidad de trasplante de médula ósea y terapia celular se enfocaron en la medición de adherencia de los instructivos de lavado de manos, aislamientos, limpieza y desinfección de equipos biomédicos y superficies y consentimiento informado, para la prevención de infecciones asociadas al cuidado de la salud, y al mejoramiento del proceso de educación al usuario, familia y cuidador que va a ser sometido a proceso de trasplante de células madre para garantizar información clara y aumentar la calidad de la atención prestada.spa

dc.description.abstractenglishThe present work was based on the development of an improvement plan through the stages of the administrative process: planning, direction and control carried out by the nurse in training of the eighth semester of the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga in the Unit of bone marrow transplant and cell therapy at the FOSCAL International clinic during the first semester of 2023, performing management and leadership functions typical of the nursing role. OBJECTIVE: Development of follow-up and education strategies by measuring adherence to instructions for health personnel and design of an education instruction for patients to improve the quality of care in the bone marrow transplant unit and cell therapy and hospitalization part in the FOSCAL international clinic during the first semester of 2023 METHODOLOGY: Based on the assessment of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit and partial hospitalization, diagnosis of the work area carried out with the SWOT matrix and prioritization of the problems identified through the Hanlon's method, improvement interventions were defined in four service needs addressed under the theoretical approach of Imogene King: goal achievement theory. RESULTS: Through the improvement interventions carried out in each of the identified needs, it was possible to measure the adherence of 100% of the health personnel in the instructions for hand washing, isolation, cleaning and disinfection of biomedical equipment and surfaces. and informed consent, during the months of March to May in the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy Unit at the Foscal International Clinic, as well as the development of strengthening activities in each of the instructions, this positively influenced improving the level of adherence to these instructions, in the same way, the preparation of 100% of the nursing education instructions for admission to the transplant unit together with the updating of 100% of the user education brochures. CONCLUSIONS: The improvement plans for the bone marrow transplant and cell therapy unit focused on the measurement of adherence to the instructions for hand washing, isolation, cleaning and disinfection of biomedical equipment and surfaces and informed consent, for the prevention of infections associated with health care, and the improvement of the education process for the user, family and caregiver who is going to undergo the stem cell transplant process to guarantee clear information and increase the quality of care provided.spa
