dc.description.abstractLa Palma de Aceite es un producto que proporciona beneficios al sector industrial colombiano. Desde el año 1932 se ha cultivado y de esta manera ha permitido ubicar a nuestro país dentro de los cinco productores más importantes a nivel mundial. En la investigación se efectúa un diagnóstico del sector palmicultor para determinar la viabilidad de “Estructurar un producto financiero que sirva como instrumento de cobertura para las negociaciones del aceite de palmiste en la Bolsa Nacional Agropecuaria (BNA)” para finalmente ofrecer una alternativa a un mercado que necesita nuevas opciones de comercialización. Como ya es conocido el mercado de futuros en los últimos años ha tomado importancia en el entorno financiero mundial por ofrecerle al inversionista opciones de inversión para diversificar su riesgo; es por esta razón que se ha buscado la forma de innovar en el sector palmicultor con un producto que le entregue al inversionista y al consumidor beneficios y les proporcione una rentabilidad cubriéndose de los posibles riesgos que amenazan su inversión, y así garantizar la satisfacción de las partes implicadas en la negociación. El objetivo de la investigación es introducir una alternativa de negociación a través de un contrato forward en el sector con el aceite de palmiste y compararlo con las ya existentes en el mercado para formalizar las negociaciones de este producto en nuestro país.spa
