dc.description.abstractDel 18.8% asignado para medicación ambulatoria de psiquiatría en el 2004, en el primer semestre el costo ascendió a 22.7% y continuó en incremento para el segundo período. Se hizo necesario encontrar los factores que se relacionan con el mayor costo generado por medicación psiquiátrica y buscar una solución que favorezca su amortización. Para esto se recepcionó y registró el numero de pacientes atendidos por consulta ambulatoria, el tipo de diagnostico y el costo por medicación. Encontrándose que el costo de medicación ambulatoria por psiquiatría fue del 25.1% ocupando el tercer lugar, por especialidad. El número de pacientes de 205 en el primer semestre se incrementó a 231 en el período de estudio. El diagnostico mas frecuente fue Reacción depresiva prolongada y Reacción paranoide aguda. Las dos reportadas como las de mayor costo por medicación.spa
