| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Humans have complex and specialized natural control algorithms, which give them the ability to perform complicated tasks in a wide range of conditions and with fast response times. In contrast, robots can perform tasks that require large forces or torques, depending on the nature of their structure and the power of their actuators; however, its artificial control algorithms that govern the dynamics of the mechanism, largely lose the flexibility and quality of performance that humans have to perform tasks in diffuse environments with imprecise conditions. It is evident then, that by combining these two entities, the human and the robot, in a single integrated system, interesting solutions can be achieved that would benefit from the advantages provided by each subsystem. Thus, the mechanical power of the machines integrated with the control system inherent to the human, would lead to perform tasks that need to apply large forces efficiently, which is the basic principle of the design of exoskeletal systems. | spa |
