dc.description.abstractDebemos iniciar este informe haciendo mención a la visita que a fines del año pasado efectuó el señor Presidente de la República, doctor Andrés Pastrana Arango en compañía de 5 de sus ministros y del Director General de la Policía con el fin de imponer la Gran Cruz de Boyacá en su máximo grado, a nuestros Presidente y Vicepresidente, don Armando Puyana Puyana y doctor Alfonso Gómez Gómez. La Universidad se sintió exaltada y estimulada por esta visita y por el reconocimiento que hizo el Presidente a la vida y la obra de quienes desde sus inicios han estado vinculados a esta hermosa tarea de formar los dirigentes del futuro para Santander y el país. Para honra de nuestra institución este año, en el mes de abril, nos volvió a visitar el Señor Presidente en compañía del señor Procurador General de la Nación y el señor Contralor General de la Nación, acto en el cual lanzó la campaña presidencial contra la corrupción. dc.description.abstractenglishWe must begin this report by mentioning the visit made at the end of last year by the President of the Republic, Dr. Andrés Pastrana Arango in the company of 5 of his ministers and the Director General of the Police in order to impose the Grand Cross of Boyacá in its highest degree, to our President and Vice President, Mr. Armando Puyana Puyana and Dr. Alfonso Gómez Gómez. The University felt exalted and stimulated by this visit and by the recognition made by the President to the life and work of those who have been linked since its inception to this beautiful task of training the leaders of the future for Santander and the country. To honor our institution this year, in the month of April, the President visited us again in the company of the Attorney General of the Nation and the Comptroller General of the Nation, an act in which he launched the presidential campaign against corruption. In the annual period to which this report refers, UNAB continues with its process of growth and consolidation.spa
