dc.description.abstractenglish | Advances have been made in the proposal of a metatheoretical model for understanding the causal mechanisms of emotional regulation in humans, following the principles of probabilistic epigenesis. This model is necessary since during the history of the study of the behavior of organisms it has been easy to fall into reductionist attitudes by causally prioritizing specific factors (eg, genes, environment, neural activity), avoiding the need for explanations formulated in terms of a complex multicausal red. An important part of this problem is the difficulty of incorporating evolutionary, psychological and neuromolecular principles in the translation of the empirical evidence found in animal models for the understanding of human development processes. Therefore, this theoretical approach seeks to highlight a multicausal and dynamic approach to the mechanisms of emotional regulation, taking into account the studies and empirical approaches found in animal models, so that it is possible to extrapolate the results found for the problem of emotional regulation. human emotions. It is hoped that new paths can be opened in the study of behavior, so as to encourage academic collaboration between different scientific areas, with an interdisciplinary perspective that allows a holistic view of the concerted influence of various causal factors on behavior | spa |
