| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | During the eighties and nineties, three major events marked the course of the world economy: the foreign debt crisis, the crash of the New York Stock Exchange in 1987, and the explosion of the financial bubble in the stock market. of Tokyo and Japan and in the Japanese real estate market in 1990, which brought a stagnation of the economy until the year 2000. The financial economic crises developed some systems in common, to name a few let us remember: disorderly circulation of flows, direct intervention by the central bank as the main tool to counteract the effects of devaluation, among others; which made the links between equity markets and major financial markets clearly visible, these links caused abrupt movements in equity prices in all of them. In my opinion, I will give 4 actions or guidelines that must be taken into account to avoid or mitigate the effects of a financial crisis: in the field of macro policies, the disorder caused by hard currency strategies should be put to an end; The IMF, as the world's leading organization for economies in crisis, should seek new rescue alternatives and seek relief from the debts of emerging countries; Recent crises have shown that financial systems regulations are incomplete, the foregoing due to flaws in the risk models used; And finally the correct use of the valuation models used. | spa |
