Bioinformatics as a new area of interest in our society and as one of the new scientific events that includes the research and development of bioinformatics tools allow us to understand the flow of biological information, starting from genes to molecular structures; For this reason, today Bioinformatics has become a necessary instrument through which researchers are able to deepen their scientific studies. Currently, some institutions interested in biological and informatics research, such as the UNAB, require tools that allow a better study and understanding of the structural and functional composition of proteins in particular, as well as the design of models that explain them. In order to carry out this type of research, it is necessary to have a clear knowledge of biological and computer aspects, which is achieved by taking Bioinformatics as a starting point. Given its multidisciplinary nature, it allows greater understanding of the biological meaning of a large amount of data that without the help of information systems would not have the scientific development that they have achieved. Therefore, this research as a degree project has carried out a biological study that seeks to understand a series of basic biological processes in cells and a study of different bioinformatics tools such as: Rasmol, Treeview, Fasta, Clustal X, SRS, YMGV, BLAST SERVER, KEGG, Entrez; which graphically allow to visualize, modify and understand the structural composition of proteins.eng
