| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | In this investigation, the digital twin of a multi-pump system with serial and parallel configurations was developed, based on two identical industrial centrifugal pumps available in the laboratory. With the help of a PLC Experimental data was collected using pressure and flow sensors to calibrate the digital twin and thus the simulated system can predict the response in changing operating conditions. The simulation environment was developed with the help of a commercial computer program of COMSOL computational fluid dynamics. In the TIA portal, an HMI interface was designed that contains the value of the sensed variables and shows the behavior of the process variable (flow) in the face of the setpoint changes that are entered. The PID control process is carried out thanks to two SINAMICS V20 drives connected to the pumps. The data obtained after several tests were compared with the simulated model to finally validate the digital twin. | eng |
