dc.description.abstract | Este artículo presenta una propuesta basada en el uso de OFDMA y la teoría de juegos como estrategia para optimizar el desempeño de una Red de Área Doméstica (HAN), bajo el uso de la tecnología Power Line Communications (PLC). El PLC hace uso de OFDM como técnica de modulación adaptativa y no tiene un mecanismo de optimización de recursos adecuado. En vista de lo anterior, se hace uso de la teoría de juegos sustentada en el valor de Shapley, como estrategia para optimizar la asignación de ancho de banda a cada nodo de acuerdo con el tipo de tráfico y demanda del servicio, buscando ofrecer niveles adecuados de QoS al interior de la red PLC. | spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | This paper presents a proposal based on the use of OFDMA and game theory as a strategy to optimize the performance of a Home Area Network (HAN), under the use of Power Line Communications (PLC) technology. PLC makes use of OFDM as adaptive modulation technique and hasn't a resources optimization mechanism suitable. In view of the foregoing, it is makes use of the theory of games supported in the value of Shapley, as a strategy to optimize the allocation of bandwidth to each node in accordance with the type of traffic and demand on the service, looking to offer adequate levels of QoS to the inside of the network PLC. | eng |
