dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este estudio correlacional-transversal, fue determinar las actitudes hacia el Estado de Bienestar en una muestra estratificada de 800 adultos con edades entre los 20 y 50 años de la ciudad de Bucaramanga (Colombia) y sus correlaciones con la edad, el nivel educativo, el estrato socioeconómico y las posibles diferencias según el género. Se creó y validó una escala de 60 ítems (α=0.76), los cuales se trataron con rotación varimax. Los hallazgos indican que las actitudes se orientan hacia la sustentabilidad, calidad y cobertura de los servicios, garantías y prestaciones sociales; hacia su financiación estatal; hacia la planeación y probidad del gasto público; la gestión del sistema de garantías sociales, su disponibilidad, accesibilidad y validez. Se encontraron correlaciones positivas entre las actitudes y la edad (r= 0.79), el estrato (0.71) y el nivel educativo (Eta=0.83) de los participantes. No hubo diferencias de género (-1.58, sig.= 0.0333).spa

dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of this cross-relational survey was establishing the attitudes towards the welfare state into a 800 adults, 20 to 50 aged stratified sample of the city of Bucaramanga (Colombia) and its correlations with the participants ́ age, education, economical strata, and the possible differences by gender about it. It was validated a scale of 60 items (á=0.76), which were administered a varimax axis rotation. The findings indicated that attitudes trend towards the sustainability, quality and coverage of the services, warranties and social provisions; towards their State financing; towards the planning and probity in the public expenditure; social warranties management, their availability, accessibility and validity. There were found positive correlations between the attitudes and the age (r= 0.79), the strata (0.71) and education (Eta=0.83) of participants. There were no found gender differences.eng
