| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Political Science has produced work from theoretical and empirical looks, which have helped to understand the phenomenon of clientelism as mediation mechanism. This article is a very brief overview of the theoretical studies of clientelism, but it focuses on show through a case study, how it is setting up a network of clientelism that has become functional to achieve political power from their work dynamics in the municipality of Rionegro since the beginning of the century. This process describes the network structure and strategies working with its main mechanism, the sharing of resources in the short and long term. In general, the prevailing logic is understood in the competition for power in local electoral scenarios. | eng |
